That is a great photograph! I mean a seriously good, professional quality photograph. I love the overall slate gray and then those few touches of deep red on the mailboxes. Even the power lines work, creating a tension opposite the vertical element of the trees.

I am, of course, glad I don’t live there today! Brrrrrrrr!

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing. No snow here all winter, but I think it is now spring. The daffodils are in full bloom, trees budding, azelias blooming, birds singing, grass turning green. Even have weeds blooming.

Incredible photo! What a lovely area you must live in.

I’m from the San Francisco Bay Area and, last night, it literally “rained on our parade.” The annual Chinese New Year’s Parade got drenched but it didn’t dampen the spirit or the fire crackers!

That’s the one thing I miss about living in the South. The seasons really don’t change that much. I used to live in Boston and New Hampshire and I really learned to appreciate the four seasons.

I can’t even begin to imagine what that must be like. We don’t have snow where I live – wet and windy days but no snow. It’s summer in Australia and the moment but it has been relatively mild with only the occasional day nearing or going over 40C. That’s well over 100F.
